Greater Tampa Swim Association (GTSA), is seeking a Head Assistant Swim Coach with relevant experience for our year-round swim program at our Danny Del Rio Pool .  This individual will report to the Aquatic Director, and Head Coach and assists in the design, planning, and implementation of the GTSA program with primary responsibility for teaching and coaching developmental and age group swimmers. Duties may include but are not limited to; organizing and coaching practices, some administration work, and attending meets. The candidate must be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible, outgoing attitude and passion for swimming. The Aquatics Director is responsible for ensuring a safe aquatic experience for all swimmers at the Speer YMCA branch. This position will hire, train and assist either directly or indirectly in the continued certification for all aquatic staff members. In addition, this person will develop, expand and grow all aquatic programs and membership goals as they relate to aquatic participation. The Outdoor Aquatics Center is composed of an 8 lane 25yard lap pool, a smaller warm water teaching pool, and a splash pad. The Center will not only serve YMCA members, but middle school students. Salary range 50-55k, commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits including health, dental, vision & life insurance, facility usage, before and after school child care, generous paid time off and YMCA-paid retirement upon eligibility.
