I am a swim coach out in Northern California with the aspiration to become a professional swim coach, to help mentor young swimmers to help them develop into better swimmers and people in the world. I have been coaching for almost seven years now, currently the head advanced age group coach for a local swim team in the greater Sacramento area. With my time there, I have developed over fifty NorCal swim league finalist and record holders, in addition to over thirty high school section swimmers, and multiple CCCAA, NAIA, and NCAA division three and two athletes. As a swimmer starting at the age of six, I was a three time section swimmer for my high school, and competed for two years at Sierra College, where I was a part of the State Championship team in 2016. During my time competing, I have competed and trained against multiple section finalist, state champions, nationally ranked athletes, and Olympic qualifiers. I hope to use my years of experience developing and training athletes to help build a swim team to higher levels and help develop athletes into better people in the world.
As the head age group coach of the Fair Oaks Dolphins, it was my responsibility to effectively run eight practices a week, create spreadsheets of athlete improvement throughout the season, put together the required paperwork and forms for league officials, and fully run and operate competitive swim meets in an effective and timely manner. I also had to represent the team on television and radio multiple times while also playing a crucial role in our teams recruitment process and social media. With this, I continue to lead the Dolphins to high conference placements and break multiple records every year all done through home grown talented athletes. I also have a group of coaches with me in which I schedule, mentor, and develop to allow them to run their own practices with the common goal of developing technically sound swimmers.
