Hi, I’m Hannah Janicke. I’ve been in and around the water my whole life—8 years on Seal Beach Swim Team, all 4 years of Los Alamitos Swim and Water Polo, and I earned Offensive Player of the Year title my sophomore year. In addition, I spent 8 beautiful summers as a Seal Beach Junior Guard, and I finished my final year there as a member of Captain Corps. I’m a certified Red Cross Safety Swim Coach with CPR/First Aid certification, and I specialize in teaching young swimmers, inspired by the incredible instructor I had growing up. I believe swimming should be safe, fun, and empowering. My goal is to help every child feel confident in the water while developing strong technique. When I’m not in the pool, I’m working on my private pilot license and bringing that same focus and determination to everything I do.

I am a diligent and enthusiastic age group swim coach proficient in stroke technique and drills. As a former club swimmer and high school swim captain, I have rekindled my passion for the sport and enjoy guiding young athletes at the Elite Otters Swim Team. Coaching children ages 5-10 has been especially rewarding, as I not only develop their skills but also foster their love for swimming. I’ve had the privilege of being an assistant coach at major events such as the Eastern Committee Long Course Championships, California/Nevada Speedo Sectionals, and Summer Age Groups. Currently, I am pursuing an M.A. in American Indian Studies at UCLA.
