Eoghan Dennen Daly
Dear Talent Acquisition Team, I am a hardworking, hands-on and determined graduate student pursuing my Masters of Arts in Kinesiology and Sports Management. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in communication studies and a minor in business administration from the University of South Dakota. i am eagerly looking for a career where I would use my exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to cultivate long lasting relationships, and my experience managing the development and implementation of business development strategies that I’ve accumulated over the past three years of my career. Additionally, I hope to learn valuable skills and gain experience while working for the respective organization. My time as a student-athlete has taught me many lessons and skills which are necessary for success in the workforce. One of these skills was organization and problem solving skills. I have had countless scenarios where multiple deadlines for classes needed to be met. While simultaneously juggling a busy competition and practice schedule. As a student athlete, organization and problem solving skills are two crucial elements in being successful. Following graduation I was fortunate enough to be able to enter the workforce where I eventually was hired by Robert Kraft’s New England Revolution in a Business Development role. In this role the ability to manage and cultivate relationships was crucial for success. Nearly two years of experience in this role has sharpened and honed my ability to make long lasting meaningful professional relationships. Currently, I am a Graduate Assistant for Athletic Operations at The University of South Dakota. In this role I manage multiple sports teams and multiple times, along with any events that occur at the facility. Therefore, if someone is to be successful in this role it is imperative that one is self-starter who is resourceful and able to develop solutions in a high-stress environment. In addition to just being qualified for this position I also have a passion for swimming as well. I am an avid viewer and fan as well as a participant of the sport. Prior to attending graduate school I had competed at the Division 1 level for the University of South Dakota. I would love for the opportunity to sit down and discuss with your Talent Acquisition Team how the skills and experiences I poses can help build the organization as well as help the organization grow. I can be reached by phone at (617)-448-5907 or by email eoghandennendaly@gmail.com . All the best, Eoghan Daly
