Inspire Swimming is a small club operating inside the loop (specifically, we swim at a private facility called The Briar Club). We are looking for lead and assistant coaches to join our staff. Lead coach responsibilities and expectations include: Promote our mission: Inspire swimmers to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool through meaningful, supportive, and individual coaching. Prepare and run practices for their group(s) in line with Inspire's curriculum. Practices are run on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings most of the year, and a combination of weekday mornings and evenings (along with Saturday mornings) in the summer. Certain holidays have slightly different schedules. Attend meet sessions for their group(s) approximately one weekend per month (sometimes more). Position Summary: Provides leadership, instruction and motivation of participants in a competitive swimming environment.
