The BSL Mission:

Birmingham Swim League was founded in 1965 to provide year-round swimming instructions, training, and competition to young people and adults of all ages in the Birmingham community.

The BSL Vision:

To be the quantifiable premier USA Swimming program in the Southeastern region as measured by:  The growth and achievement of the individual swimmer and the team, the quality of our coaching staff, and the enthusiasm of our athletes and families. 

BSL is a 501(c)(3) organization.

• BSL Swim Team has six (6) competitive training groups comprised of swimmers aged 5 through 19
• Dryland training to build flexibility and strength
• Nutrition and hydration education
• Team spirit, confidence, and life-long friendships
