The South Davis Recreation District is a governmental special service district serving the South Davis County area. The District was organized in 2005 to operate the South Davis Recreation Center and to serve the aquatics, ice skating, and recreation needs of the residents in the cities of Bountiful, Centerville, North Salt Lake, West Bountiful, and Woods Cross.
The District is dedicated to providing community residents and visitors a safe, clean, well-maintained facility that promotes health, education and recreation through a network of quality programs, activities and amenities that strengthen the individual, family and community; both now and for future generations.
The South Davis Aquatics Team (SDAT) is the District’s age-group competitive swim team and is one of its flagship aquatics programs. In conjunction with the swim lesson program, SDAT continues swimmer development and opportunity for competition that creates and fosters a positive environment for life-long aquatic experiences.
