West Memorial Swim Team is part of the West Houston Aquatic League (WHALe), a competitive summer swim league. We welcome swimmers ages 4 to 18 years to join our team. We practice at the West Memorial pool on Kingsland Blvd next to the West Memorial Civic Association. Our goal is for our swimmers to participate in a team sport that offers them a sense of community, working together as a team, while promoting self-esteem for their individual efforts. You do not need to live in West Memorial to join our team.

We are a family-oriented, supportive and fun swim team. Our swimmers learn valuable lessons like dedication, team work, sportsmanship, perseverance and that hard work pays off. We are building future leaders by allowing the older swimmers to volunteer in teaching clinics and building future swim team coaches.

Our swimmers and parents are building relationships and friendships to last a lifetime!
