Columbus Aquatic Club Hurricanes (HURR) is recognized as a USA Swimming Level 4 Club which has been in existence for over 50 years.  HURR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization overseen by a member elected Board of Directors that has approximately 165 swimmers ranging from 5 to 18 years old and representing ability levels from beginner to the highest levels of USA Swimming. The Columbus Hurricanes Swim Team is committed to teaching and developing participants in the sport of swim. We believe swimming is a medium through which teamwork, leadership, responsibility, self-discipline, determination, and sportsmanship are instilled into the character of our members. Our mission is to develop the leaders of tomorrow through competitive swimming.
