The purpose of this job is responsibility for the instruction of water aerobics classes as assigned at CCAC pools and in accordance with the standards of the specific classes being taught. Monitors activities at the pool to prevent accidents. Teaches water aerobics to the standard as defined by the certification that is held and the type of class being taught. Administers First Aid/CPR/AED as necessary. Follows emergency action plan and procedures established in the event of an emergency. Maintains order in the pool and adjoining areas. Responsible for the care and maintenance of the aerobics equipment.  Provides general information to patrons about programs. Completes required paperwork. Certifications accepted: a nationally recognized aquatic exercise certification or personal training certification. Must pass background check and drug test.
