Swim Team Coach Newtown Parks and Recreation Torpedoes Part-Time The Newtown Parks and Recreation Torpedoes swim team is seeking one head coach and two energetic, driven and personable assistant swim team coaches to join the staff.  The Newtown Torpedoes are a member of the Yankee league, made up of 11 teams from West Haven, Oxford, Seymour, New Milford, Trumbull, Watertown, Naugatuck, Plainville, Bristol, Madison and Newtown! The competition season is broken up into the regular dual meet season and the championship post season.   Previous competitive coaching experience/participation is strongly recommended, as well as strong administrative, organizational and computer skills. Knowledge of Hy-Tek swimming software is preferred. Must have the ability to help keep records, and manage a website.
