Stingray Swim Team (SST) is a USA Swimming team in Fairbanks, Alaska.  Our motto is changing lives through the sport of swimming.

SST is designed and founded on best practices derived from developmental physiology, motor learning, and psychology.  Swimmers are placed in swim practice groups designed to enable individual swimmers to realize their personal goals inside of a team environment.  SST emphasizes the lifetime value of the sport, the importance of teamwork, the necessity of mindful training and the positive aspects of robust competition.

Our swim coaches are USA Swimming certified and American Swim Coaches Association members with access to the most comprehensive training and certification program available to youth coaches of any sport in the United States.  They ensure the time children spend swimming is quality time geared toward constantly growing healthy individuals and training swimmers to maintain a well-rounded, competitive swim team.
