Beaverton Area Aquatic Club

Our mission is to inspire youth swimmers to achieve their potential through discipline, self-motivation, and hard work in a positive space. BAAC is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment and protect every athlete following USA Swimming’s Safe Sport Policies and Procedures. We believe developing swim members’ confidence and work ethic boosts team pride and creates a space where members encourage one another’s success at all levels of competition. We strive to build life-skills, both in-and-out of the pool, which will benefit members long after their participation with BAAC ends.

 

Our vision is to empower a new generation of swimmers who feel capable of handling life’s challenges. We aim to cultivate members with a positive self-image through a constructive team culture, hard-work, and success in the pool. Athletes will learn to work and cooperate with others in a team environment, with access to quality coaching where every athlete is encouraged to become their best on our community-oriented swim team. BAAC seeks to regularly finish among the top five teams in the state and compete at a high level regionally. We aim to provide an environment capable of producing national and Olympic champions.

Job Position Title:  Assistant Coach Club: Beaverton Area Aquatic Club -BAAC Location: Beaverton, Oregon The Beaverton Area Aquatic Club is a year-round USA Swimming competitive swim team located in Beaverton, Oregon, at the Tualatin Hill Park and Recreation District pools.  BAAC offers high-quality professional coaching for athletes of all ages. We have approximately 100+ athletes who train with our team.  BAAC has been a non-profit, board-governed, coach-led team-building Champion, both in and out of the water, since October 2020.
