Mt. Vernon High School is part of the MSD of Mt. Vernon in Posey County, located in southwest Indiana along the Ohio River. Serving approximately 600 students in grades 9–12, Mt. Vernon is a close-knit, community-driven school district that values relationships, opportunity, and student growth both in and out of the classroom.
Mt. Vernon Athletics competes in the Pocket Athletic Conference (PAC) and offers a comprehensive, multi-sport program focused on developing the whole student-athlete. Guided by our LevelUp philosophy—Do Better, Get Better, Be Better, our department emphasizes leadership, character development, multi-sport participation, and strong K–12 program alignment.
Our athletic programs are supported by engaged families, dedicated coaches, and strong community partnerships. We are committed to creating positive, inclusive experiences that prepare student-athletes for success in competition, in school, and in life.
