Aurora Ducks Swimming is accepting applications for the position of age group swim coach. Successful candidates must be positive, goal orientated leaders who are energetic, enthusiastic and equipped to work with swimmers of all ages and abilities. The applicant should be able to plan and administer an appropriate training program for groups supported by Swimming Canada’s, Long Term Athlete Development Model and under the direction of the Head Coach.

Position Requirements:

• NLS, CPR and Standard First Aid

• NCCP Level I

• Police Vulnerable Sector Check

• 2 + years of successful competitive swimming coaching experience

• Knowledge of Hy-Tek software (Team Manager and Swim Manager)

• Computer literacy

• Attend swim meets, training camps and team functions

• Oversee swim meet registration, within set timelines for your swimmers

• Attend mandatory Emergency Procedures Training with the Town of Aurora

• Attend mandatory staff meetings throughout the season

• Provide mid-season and final evaluations for each swimmer

• Solid Communication Skills and the ability to positively motivate swimmers of all levels

• Build positive relationships with swimmers and parents
