Alto Swim Club was formed in October 2018 and is the premier United States Swimming team in Palo Alto and Stanford, CA and the surrounding area. We are a team built by coaching professionals who are passionate about swimming.

Alto Swim Club is seeking an Assistant Coach to work with swimmers ages 12 & younger.    Alto Swim Club trains at multiple facilities in the Palo Alto area, including the Avery Aquatic Center on the Stanford University campus. The team’s mission is to offer the best developmental and high performance programs in the country.   Job Responsibilities Coach multiple groups between 3:30-8 pm. Exact hours will depend on availability. Coaching hours could be scheduled from 1 up to 5 days per week. The coach will follow team guidelines for practice planning and structure.     Desired Qualifications Coaching and/or competitive swimming experience. Desire & passion for developing swimmers of all ages. Strong communication and organizational skills. Alto Swim Club is seeking a Lead Development / Pre-Competitive Coach . This will be a full-time position.    Alto Swim Club trains at multiple facilities in the Palo Alto area, including the Avery Aquatic Center on the Stanford University campus. The team’s mission is to offer the best developmental and high performance programs in the country. Alto Swim Club was formed in October 2018 and is the premier United States Swimming team in Palo Alto and Stanford, CA and the surrounding area. We are a team built by coaching professionals who are passionate about swimming.   The Lead Development/Pre-Competitive Age Group Coach will be on deck from 3 – 8 pm each night. The coach will be responsible for daily, weekly and season planning, as well as all communication with families.    For interested candidates, additional on-deck coaching will be available.   Desired Qualifications Coaching and/or competitive swimming experience. Desire & passion for developing swimmers of all ages. Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills. Alto Swim Club is seeking a Lead Age Group 2 Coach &  Lead Age Group 3 Coach. These could be a full-time or part-time position, depending on interest and availability. Alto Swim Club trains at multiple facilities in the Palo Alto area, including the Avery Aquatic Center on the Stanford University campus. The team’s mission is to offer the best developmental and high performance programs in the country. Alto Swim Club was formed in October 2018 and is the premier United States Swimming team in Palo Alto and Stanford, CA and the surrounding area. We are a team built by coaching professionals who are passionate about swimming.   The Lead Age Group 2 Coach will be on deck from approximately 4 – 6 pm each night. The coach will be responsible for daily, weekly and season planning. The coach will typically attend 1 – 2 weekend meets per month.  Age Group 2 is a high performing training group for competitive swimmers ages 9 and 10. The group trains 5 sessions per week, approximately 1.5 hours per session. Time Goals include National A, AA, AAA, AAAA, Junior Olympic and Far Western Qualifying Times. The Lead Age Group 3 Coach will be on deck from approximately 5 – 8 pm each night. The coach will be responsible for daily, weekly and season planning. The coach will typically attend 1 – 2 weekend meets per month.  Age Group 3 is a high performing training group for competitive swimmers ages 11 and 12. The group trains 5-6 sessions per week, approximately 2 hours per session. Time Goals include National A, AA, AAA, AAAA, Junior Olympic and Far Western Qualifying Times.   For interested candidates, additional on-deck coaching will be available.   Desired Qualifications: Coaching and/or competitive swimming experience at the club or collegiate level. Current USA Swimming coach certifications. Desire & passion for developing swimmers of all ages. Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills. Expertise with current technique development and training. Enthusiastic and highly motivated team player. Compensation Alto Swim Club offers competitive compensation based on qualifications.
