HEAD SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING COACH: ($4,166.66 per month) (Résumé   and Cover Letter Required) Job Code: IRC31197 Department:  Athletics Education:  Bachelor’s degree required. Experience:  Minimum of four years of experience coaching competitive women’s synchronized swimming at a four-year institution and/or experience in a highly competitive club system.  Collegiate coaching experience strongly preferred.  Head coaching experience strongly preferred.  Experience supervising staff, volunteers and student assistants preferred.    Requirement:  Current certification in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillator (AED) use is preferred at the time of hire, and will be required prior to participation in any athletically related activities.  Current USA Synchro Coaching Certificate Program (CCP) Level 1 required.  Current SafeSport certification required.  Current USA Synchro membership required.  Lifeguard certification or water safety instructor certification required.  Valid driver’s license and certification as an authorized TWU driver in order to drive on University-related business. Duties:  The Head Synchronized Swimming Coach is responsible for developing and administering a highly competitive synchronized swimming program; abiding by University and USA Synchro rules and regulations; and along with all other Athletics personnel, working towards achieving the objectives of Intercollegiate Athletics.  Work is performed under general supervision and performance evaluation is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures.
