Welcome to California Capital Aquatics (CCA) and USA Swimming! CCA is a year-round competitive swim team with a professional coaching staff and a tradition of excellence. CCA offers a full spectrum-swimming program, from the novice to elite whereby each individual swimmer can reach his or her full potential. CCA is recognized as a premiere USA Swimming affiliated team for all of northern/central California and Nevada.
Why choose CCA Swimming? California Capital Aquatics is an Olympic Development Team located in Roseville, CA. From beginners to the elite, CCA is well known within USA Swimming as one of the most successful swim teams in the country. Notably, Olympic Champion and World Record Holder, Summer Sanders and World Champion, Randall Bal grew up in CCA water under CCA coaching. Mike Hastings first formed CCA in 1983 with a team philosophy to build character through excellence in swimming. His successors continue to carry forward this philosophy as demonstrated in the team’s Mission and Vision Statements, and Core Values.

CCA runs a year-round schedule with typically a 2-3 week team break in August. New swimmers may tryout to join the team at any time. During the school year, practices are scheduled in the afternoon and evening with some mornings for senior-level swimmers. In the summer months, practices are scheduled in the early morning, with some evening practices for senior-level swimmers, depending on which group your swimmer is in. CCA competes in approximately one meet every three to four weeks.
