Carbon County School District One provides educational services in Rawlins and Baggs, Wyoming. Rawlins educational facilities include one elementary school (K-5), one middle school (6-8) and two high schools (9-12), as well as a Fine Arts Center, swimming pool, and sports complex. In addition, Carbon County School District One operates a K-12 comprehensive school at Baggs, 70 miles southwest of Rawlins in the Little Snake River Valley. All district facilities provide a variety of teaching experiences, special education, student activities, and adult education opportunities.
