Responsibilities:  The Aquatics Director/Assistant Swim Coach is responsible for managing operations of aquatics facilities, policies, and pool schedule for open swim, swim activities, swimming programs, excellent skilled instruction, training, and strategies to achieve success. Supervise the day-to-day activities of staff and volunteers including teaching aquatic safety and certifications as needed. Oversees the organization, implementation, promotion and evaluation of the aquatics programs and facilities to include collegiate use, collegiate extra-curricular use, community use and pool programming. Adheres to aquatic safety guidelines and university procedures. We are opening a new 50,000 sq ft Athletic & Wellness Center (Fall 2026!!!) that includes a 6-lane pool. We aspire to become a destination for swim lessons (ie, we will create a swim school open to the public) AND a USA Swim team that draws swimmers from around the world. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial and competitive individual who desires to build their own program. As we are a boarding school for grades 4-9, onsite housing is available for this position and of course, for members of our future swim team.
