The Swim Coach is responsible for providing members an individualized instruction in a group environment that is tailored to their needs and skill ability. The Swim Coach will also assist with swim meets, swim clinics and team events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Lead and assist small group swim practices, with the ability to coach at various levels. 2. Coach within standard guidelines of specialty certifications. Must be willing to obtain all required USA Swimming and Ohio Swimming coaching certifications. 3. Maintain industry certification in good standing and meet continuing education requirements. 4. Work closely with the Lead coaches to create a supportive, fun and welcoming environment along with excellent technique instruction. 5. Able to work M-F evenings (minimum of 2 days a week, with the opportunity for more). 6. Demonstrate accountability to schedule by avoiding missed practices and seek substitute coaches in advance. 7.
