JOB DESCRIPTION : SPRING HILL AGE GROUP COORDINATOR  Location:  2909 Commonwealth Dr, Spring Hill, TN 37174   Excel Aquatics is a Bronze-level, multi-site program with more than 650 swimmers that ranks in the top 40 VCC teams in the country. We are a 501c3 nonprofit year-round swim club based in 12 locations in the Middle Tennessee area. We currently have 14 full-time staff members, and six main administrative departments within the organization. Job Description: As an Associate Head Coach of Thunder, you’ll be responsible for the development, implementation, support and advancement of all swim group athletes which includes their short- and long-term goals.  JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1.     The successful candidate must have a background in senior level coaching and development of swimmers. 2.     Current USA Swimming background check, CPR, First Aid, and Safety Training for Swimming Coaches certifications are required. College degree preferred. 3.     Dryland training experience. 4.     ASCA certification level 2 or higher is desired. 5.     Workouts run in the evenings, during school, (4-7:30pm), Saturdays (7-9am) and occasional mornings. Position Summary The Sevier Aquatic Club is seeking an energetic and experienced Head Coach to lead and grow our competitive swim program. The Head Coach will oversee athlete development, manage assistant coaches, coordinate competitions, and partner with the SAC Board to strengthen the club’s long-term success. This is an opportunity for a motivated coach to shape the vision of a developing program , build a strong team culture, and help swimmers reach their full potential in and out of the water. SAC is a year-round team of about 70 athletes, and a learn-to-swim program of 20 swimmers.
