The Head Swimming/Program Director is responsible for shaping and guiding all aspects of the program, grades 6-12, and reports directly to the Director of Athletics. The head coach must be a dynamic, innovative, and inspirational leader with a demonstrated commitment and passion for working with young people while collaborating effectively with parents, faculty, administration, and colleagues. Job Summary The Jackson Swim Team is seeking a qualified candidate for the part-time position of Swim Lesson Instructor/ Assistant Coach. Previous swim lesson instruction, coaching, and/or competitive swimming experience is highly preferred. Candidates should have a passion for kids and swimming. Responsibilities and Duties Teach lessons (usually from in the water) in the Swim Lesson program. Assist Head Coach in coaching swimmers. Availability Monday through Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings during the school year. Availability mornings and/or afternoons/evenings Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings during the summer. Schedule would vary within that time frame.
