Aquatic Director will report to the Director of Pool & Tennis and will manage the Club’s swimming program and staff in that area. Priorities of the position include maintaining the Club’s traditions while stimulating greater interest and participation in the Club’s Pool  activities.  Swim instruction can also be a part of the position.   Key areas of responsibility include:   Providing a high-level of service to members and their guests. Responsibilities:  The Aquatics Director/Assistant Swim Coach is responsible for managing operations of aquatics facilities, policies, and pool schedule for open swim, swim activities, swimming programs, excellent skilled instruction, training, and strategies to achieve success. Supervise the day-to-day activities of staff and volunteers including teaching aquatic safety and certifications as needed. We aspire to become a destination for swim lessons (ie, we will create a swim school open to the public) AND a USA Swim team that draws swimmers from around the world. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial and competitive individual who desires to build their own program. As we are a boarding school for grades 4-9, onsite housing is available for this position and of course, for members of our future swim team.
