The Jeff Rouse Swim & Sport Center is currently accepting applications for Aquatics Director. The Aquatics Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and supervision of the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center Aquatic Department, directly managing the aquatic staff (interview, hire, train, evaluate) and aquatic programs with the continual goal of better usage of the pool and meeting the needs of the community. The Aquatics Director will have the ability to teach or substitute coach swim teams, youth swim lessons or lifeguarding as needed. The Aquatics Director will also maintain all pool operations and oversee all equipment and maintenance to ensure proper pool functioning. This staff will need to secure local, state, regional and national meets and have experience in competitive swimming as a participant or a coach. Aquatic Director will report to the Director of Pool & Tennis and will manage the Club’s swimming program and staff in that area. We are opening a new 50,000 sq ft Athletic & Wellness Center (Fall 2026!!!) that includes a 6-lane pool. We aspire to become a destination for swim lessons (ie, we will create a swim school open to the public) AND a USA Swim team that draws swimmers from around the world. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial and competitive individual who desires to build their own program. As we are a boarding school for grades 4-9, onsite housing is available for this position and of course, for members of our future swim team.
