The Swim Meet Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of swim meets hosted at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sports Center. This individual ensures all meets run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while delivering a positive experience for athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Oversee the logistics of all swim meet events. Coordinate with the event host and staff to ensure meet readiness. Set up and tear down of swim meet equipment (timing systems, computers, touchpads, etc.). With this goal in mind, all instructors are required to use competitive swimming terminology when instructing students on the basics of swimming and stroke technique (eg, freestyle instead of front crawl, bilateral breathing instead of rotary breathing). Tsunami's Swim & Stay Fit (SSF) program encourages fitness and good stroke technique through weekly hour-long workouts.
