The Lifeguard maintains a safe swim environment by enforcing all rules and regulations of the pool as well as preventing and responding to all emergencies in the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center. The Swim Meet Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of swim meets hosted at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sports Center. This individual ensures all meets run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while delivering a positive experience for athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Oversee the logistics of all swim meet events. Coordinate with the event host and staff to ensure meet readiness. Set up and tear down of swim meet equipment (timing systems, computers, touchpads, etc.). The Jeff Rouse Swim & Sport Center is currently accepting applications for Aquatics Director. The Aquatics Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and supervision of the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center Aquatic Department, directly managing the aquatic staff (interview, hire, train, evaluate) and aquatic programs with the continual goal of better usage of the pool and meeting the needs of the community. The Aquatics Director will have the ability to teach or substitute coach swim teams, youth swim lessons or lifeguarding as needed. The Aquatics Director will also maintain all pool operations and oversee all equipment and maintenance to ensure proper pool functioning.
