Job Summary: Under the direction of the Head Coach of Highlander Aquatics, the Seasonal Swim Team Coach is a certified USA Swimming Coach who develops young athletes in a positive environment and encourages individuals to succeed at his/her own level. We are looking for a qualified and dependable individual who loves the sport of swimming and enjoy working with children in a competitive and fun atmosphere. This position also opens opportunities to coach multi-group levels within Highlander Aquatics. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 3:30 - 6:30 pm. Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Competitive Aquatics, the Head Swim Team Coach is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the YSF swim team at their assigned site. This includes coaching, program development, communication, and administrative support. The Head Swim Team Coach plays a key role in fostering a positive team culture, supporting swimmers’ development, and contributing to the overall success of the Competitive Aquatics program. This position may also include responsibilities related to Masters Swimming depending on site needs.
