Job Description
Clearwater Aquatics is looking for an energetic and motivated Swim Coach to join our growing
team at the Long Center in Clearwater, Florida.
We are seeking a coach who is passionate about teaching, developing swimmers, and creating a
positive team environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels.
Position Details

Responsibilities
• Plan and lead swim practices for all levels
• Teaches proper stroke technique, starts, and turns
• Prepare swimmers for swim meets and competitions
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Communicates with parents and coaching staff
• Assist with and participates in swim meets as well as team activities
Qualifications
• Competitive swimming or coaching experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong leadership skills
• Reliable and organized
• Ability to work with children and athletes of all ages
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
About Us
Clearwater Aquatic Team offers swim lessons, competitive swimming groups, private lessons,
and dryland training in a year-round indoor facility that is not affected by rain, lightning, or
extreme Florida heat.

The Clearwater Aquatic Team was founded in the 1970’s and evolved by 1990 into the current program.
CAT has long been recognized as a premiere local and national team. In its history, CAT has had Florida State Junior Olympic champions, National Top 16 swimmers, National Age Group record holders, High School All Americans, Masters world record holders, Junior National champions, Senior National finalists, Olympic Trials qualifiers, and a US Open champion.
As a team, CAT has won the Florida State 14-under Junior Olympic Championships four times. Throughout its existence, CAT has been known as a program that has success both in its age group program and its senior and masters program.
