Huntsville Swim Association (HSA) in Huntsville, Alabama, is looking to fill the position of Site Director and Senior Assistant Coach.  The position is a full-time, salaried position that also offers Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Retirement benefits.  The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree, strong administrative skills, a passion for developing swimmers of all levels, a positive approach to coaching, and a strong desire to grow and learn professionally.  Previous coaching experience is highly preferred.  A high comfort level with Windows software is a must, and knowledge of Team Unify systems and Hy-Tek systems is preferred.  Candidates must be U.S. citizen, , have or be willing to quickly obtain current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Coaches Safety Training, and pass both the USA Swimming and our club's background check.  Duties will include overseeing our Senior Development group (high school age swimmers),  assisting with the Junior and Senior groups (our top two groups), being the site coordinator and liaison to our practice location on the Army’s Redstone Arsenal,  attending meets, office hours, communicating with parents, and participating in staff projects, planning, and coordination of all team activities.  The position will report to the Head Coach.  The position is open as early as December 9th.  Salary is $32,000 per year, with the ability to earn additional income from both summer league and high school swimming.  Please send a cover letter, resume, and three references to Head Coach, Matt Webber ( ), to express interest in the position.   Huntsville Swim Association is a Bronze Medal Club, with multiple National and Junior National qualifiers.  The team operates out of two practice sites, located about five minutes apart, and averages over 500 swimmers throughout the year.  Huntsville has been listed as one of the top 10 cities in American in which to live, and boasts a strong economy due to both the aerospace and technological industries.

This role is part-time during the off-season and full time over the summer. Swim Coach Our team is dedicated to providing a fun and supportive team environment, encouraging healthy competition, and improving swimming technique. We have 120 swimmers.
