Why this role matters: Our swim instructors are responsible for implementing the day to day swim instruction program and actively supervising children within the guidelines set by the Bender JCC. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with our community and have a significant impact on the experience of members and guests. Core Responsibilities: Instructing, evaluating, and supervising all swim lesson participants. Ensuring the safety of the participant in their own class. Remaining after class to answer participant and/or parent questions as needed and clean up supplies. Submitting completed report cards, skills sheets, and attendance information on time. Attending mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled. Acting immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
