Looking for a seasonal full time Pool Director to oversee the daily operation of an outdoor pool and kiddie pool at a private, upscale Country Club located just outside of Boston. Responsibilities include:

-Managing and training Lifeguard staff

-Scheduling for staff

-Enforcing both safety and Club rules

-Overseeing daily operations including all aquatic activities

-Assures that all safety/accident/emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed

-Maintain chemicals and proper chemical balance in pool

-Look after all mechanical equipment, interact with outside contractors to maintain pool facility

-Resolve member and guest issues

-Make recommendations about possible capital budget requirements

-Manage pool area (including lockers/changing room/restroom) for cleanliness and communicate with other managers when issues arise

-Perform other appropriate tasks assigned by the Committee or GM

-Keep GM informed of activities/issues as necessary

-Interact with Membership and guests with civility and respect

-Test swimming pool water and maintain daily log of water test results for local health department inspections.

Reports to: General Manager

Qualifications/Requirements: First Aid, CPR, AED, + CPO

Experience: Supervising experience: 1 year (Preferred), Management: 1 year (Preferred)

Competitive pay with potential for overtime, Seasonal Full Time position- Wknds and Holidays a must
