COSA Swimming

At Colorado Springs Area (COSA) Swimming, we aim to advance the sport of  swimming in Colorado Springs. Our mission is to promote water safety and foster a lifelong love of swimming through top-notch instruction - from swim lessons to national level competition. Our culture at COSA Swimming is not only focused on producing fast swimmers, but ensuring our athletes have fun in a safe envirnment. Swimming is a valuable life skill and a healthy activity.  The combination of swimming excellence and a positive, enjoyable experience is essential for producing a lifelong love of the sport. 

Our coaches are active on deck during practice, interacting with each swimmer to provide personalized feedback about their stroke technique to enhance efficiency in the water. Filming during practices is utilized to give swimmers visual feedback, helping target specific areas for improvement. This hands-on approach ensures each athlete receives guidance to refine their skills and improve performance.

Associate Head Coach/Site Lead (Full-Time) COSA Swimming – Colorado Springs, CO COSA Swimming is a growing team with over 200 athletes. COSA is run by a coach lead board–run 501(c)(3) nonprofit swim team based in Colorado Springs, CO. COSA is currently seeking a positive, energetic, flexible, passionate, team-oriented, and self-motivated coach to lead our top 11-12 and 13-14 athletes . Our team trains year-round out of Cheyenne Mountain High School, Colorado College, the United States Air Force Academy, and Liberty High School. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of stroke mechanics, athlete development, and age-appropriate training techniques , along with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coaching staff, swimmers, and parents.
