Interim Head Swim Coach

Term: Now – February (temporary coverage during Head Coach LOA)

Reports to: Aquatics Director

Will provide leadership, coaching, and meet management for the swim team during the Head Coach’s leave, ensuring consistent training, positive culture, and readiness for competition.

Key Areas of Oversight:

• Swim Team Practices: Plan and lead training for all age groups in alignment with existing seasonal goals.
• Meets: Prepare entries, attend meets, manage warm-ups, and coach swimmers during events.
• Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate with assistant and volunteer coaches.
• Administration: Maintain dedicated admin hours before practice for communication, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
• Communication: Send updates to swim families regarding schedules, meets, and team matters.
• Collaboration: Work with Aquatics Director to ensure smooth operations and transition back to permanent Head Coach.

Hours:  Monday - Friday 1:00pm to 8:00pm (1 - 3:30 office admin, 3:30 to 8 is on deck coaching) plus twice a month weekend Meets.
