Job Description
PENN Aquatic Club is searching for coaches for our age group swimmers (ages 7-12) on our swim team. The training goals of our age group program are stroke efficiency, technical instruction, racing skills, and team building. PENN competes as a member of USA Swimming. You can read more about our Program here. This role is designed for the school year (September-June), but could continue in the summer months if interested.
Job Requirements:
- 6-8 hours per week on deck coaching Developmental and Orange groups
- Arrives on time to set up and prepare for daily practices.
- Attend USA meets as needed throughout the season
- Communicates with the Head Coach effectively
- Must acquire & maintain USA Swimming Coach Certifications/Credentials
- Attends staff meetings in person or via zoom.
- Work with head to develop and implement seasonal, weekly, and daily training plans for the group.
- Develop and maintain healthy relationships with the swimmers, their parents, and other coaching staff.
- Other duties as assigned

- Enthusiasm and ability to instill a “love of the sport” in young athletes

PENN Aquatics is a non-profit 501c3 that was established in 1969 as a swim team. Since 1969 PENN has grown into one of the top swim teams in Bucks County. While we are extremely proud of our successes in the competition pool. We are extremely excited and proud of our lesson program which in the 2024-2025 season was able to teach 648 children how to swim. We take pride in keeping the costs of lessons affordable to everyone.
