Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking a Head Coach for Glenbrook Swim Club. The start date for this position is after August 1, 2026.
The Head Coach for Glenbrook Swim Club is the primary architect of the program’s identity and cultural standard, providing a strategic vision for the club and directing the path toward technical and performance excellence. The Head Coach will work in direct synergy with the coaching staff and Head Age Group Coach to ensure a cohesive "one-club" philosophy that breathes life into the mission, vision, and values of the Glenbrook Swim Club program.
The Head Coach is responsible for all coaching aspects related to the planning, preparation, and implementation of the comprehensive swim program as a pillar of the larger Glenbrook Aquatics program. This includes overseeing the day-to-day coaching strategy for each age group, providing direction and mentoring to the coaching staff, and developing and maintaining the overall coaching philosophy for the Glenbrook Swim Club organization.

Glenbrook Aquatics Swim Club, a year round competitive swim club based out of the Glenbrook School District 225 high schools of Glenbrook North HS (Northbrook, IL) and Glenbrook South HS (Glenview, IL) is seeking part time assistant coaches to join our staff across all levels of our team. Coaching positions are currently open and available remaining open until filled.
Responsibilities include:
Coaches are wanted for all training groups, so potential applicants are needed for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Placement within our staff will depend on swimming/coaching experience and will take applicants preference into consideration.
Hours of work will consist of 3-5 evenings a week and weekend mornings as well as occasional weekend meets as needed. Availability to coach mornings in the summer for coaches wishing to work with senior groups.
Assistant coaches report to the head coach for their groups and administer/assist with workouts as directed.
Qualifications: Applicants should have prior coaching experience and/or swimming experience and hold or be willing to obtain the following certifications: Coaches Safety Training, CPR and First Aid (as is required to obtain USA Swimming Coaching credentials). A background check will also be required.
Compensation: This is an hourly position and the rate will be commensurate with experience. Glenbrook Aquatics will also cover the costs of required certifications and USA Swimming membership.
