NextWave Alliance is a nonprofit organization based in Lexington, Kentucky, dedicated to strengthening communities through swimming, wellness, education, and community engagement.
NextWave Swim is a year-round, development-focused aquatics program designed to provide high-quality coaching and inclusive athletic opportunities for swimmers of different ages, backgrounds, goals, and experience levels.
Our program supports multiple swimmer pathways, including:
- Pre-competitive and developmental training
- Competitive swimming
- Fitness swimming
- Semi-private swim instruction for youth and adults
- Specialty clinics and technical skill development
The planned training location is the University of Kentucky Aquatic Center, one of the premier aquatic facilities in the region.
Coaches will have the opportunity to work with swimmers across a range of levels, from beginner and developmental swimmers to more advanced competitive athletes. This is a strong opportunity for coaches who enjoy teaching technique, mentoring athletes, helping shape program culture, and contributing to a community-centered aquatics program.
