Alto Swim Club is seeking a full-time National Group Assistant Coach.

Alto is the premier USA Swimming team in the Palo Alto and Stanford area. We aspire to be the best developmental and high performance swim team in the United States.

The National Group trains primarily at Avery Aquatic Center on the Stanford University campus and consists of swimmers age 14 and older with Sectional, Futures, Summer Junior National, and National-level qualifying times. Head Coach Joey Sementelli leads the group, and the Assistant Coach will work closely alongside him to help develop the team and each athlete to their full potential. 

A typical week includes approximately 25 hours of on-deck coaching and 15 hours of administrative work. The position also includes 1 - 2 weekend meets per month and approximately 50 days of travel per year for competitions and training camps.

• Works well with others: Is a collaborative team member who contributes to the success of the entire club and works effectively with athletes, coaches, and families.

• Communicates and organizes well: Has strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
