Responsibilities:  The Aquatics Director/Assistant Swim Coach is responsible for managing operations of aquatics facilities, policies, and pool schedule for open swim, swim activities, swimming programs, excellent skilled instruction, training, and strategies to achieve success. Supervise the day-to-day activities of staff and volunteers including teaching aquatic safety and certifications as needed. Oversees the organization, implementation, promotion and evaluation of the aquatics programs and facilities to include collegiate use, collegiate extra-curricular use, community use and pool programming. Adheres to aquatic safety guidelines and university procedures. Highlands Ranch Aquatics (HRA), located on the south side of Denver, seeks an age group development coach passionate about teaching and motivating young athletes. HRA has been a USA Swimming Silver Medal Club (2024 and 2025), with a history of producing State, Zone, Sectional, Junior National, US Open, and Olympic Trials qualifiers, as well as developing collegiate student athletes.  HRA recently won the 2026 Colorado Swimming Medium Team Age Group State Championships, and we're looking for the right candidate to help continue our mission and success.  The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in stroke mechanics and have strong teaching and communication skills.
