We are opening a new 50,000 sq ft Athletic & Wellness Center (Fall 2026!!!) that includes a 6-lane pool. We aspire to become a destination for swim lessons (ie, we will create a swim school open to the public) AND a USA Swim team that draws swimmers from around the world. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial and competitive individual who desires to build their own program. As we are a boarding school for grades 4-9, onsite housing is available for this position and of course, for members of our future swim team. The Brattleboro Swim Team is looking to recruit a head coach for the 2026 summer season. We are accepting applications for head and assistant coach positions on a rolling basis through January 2026. Coaches work with swimmers ages 5-18 in developing their stroke technique for competitive swimming and building/supporting a positive team culture. The head coach will plan practices, oversee 1-3 assistant coaches depending on team size, and coordinate meets. Practices are held at Brattleboro Memorial Pool M-F after 4-6pm from June 22 to July 31. The season includes 4-5 swim meets within the Southern Vermont Swim League and the State Championship Meet for qualified swimmers.
