For the first time in 25 years, the Hillside Swim Team is seeking a new leader. Hillside is a neighborhood summer club in Greeley, CO, with a 66-year tradition. Our season begins Tuesday, May 26, 2026 , and concludes with the State Meet the last weekend of July. The team banquet is a celebration of the season and is typically held a few days after the conclusion of the State Meet. While we prefer a multi-summer commitment to maintain our program's stability, all qualified, technically-sound applicants are welcome. We are looking for a Head Coach who rejects the "athlete-as-a-machine" philosophy. At Hillside, we value the person as much as the athlete. Based at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, this role is at the heart of the nation’s high-performance Para Swimming movement. The ideal coach is both an elite technician and strategist and a leader of people, driven to cultivate excellence through data-informed decision-making, performance science integration, and a relentless commitment to athlete well-being and growth. This position offers the rare opportunity to shape the trajectory of U.S. Paralympics Swimming and mentor the next generation of Paralympic medalists. This position is anticipated to be a 1-year assignment, with potential eligibility for renewal after that period.
