Head Coach, Rocky Mountain Rapids Swim Team  About the Rapids: Founded in 1998, the Rocky Mountain Rapids (RPDS) is a non-profit, board-governed, head coach–led swim team based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Rapids is a year-round USA Swimming program serving approximately 120 swimmers and a growing membership, providing athletes ages 18 and under the opportunity to train and compete in a supportive, community-oriented environment and participate in local and regional swim meets. For the first time in 25 years, the Hillside Swim Team is seeking a new leader. Hillside is a neighborhood summer club in Greeley, CO, with a 66-year tradition. Our season begins Tuesday, May 26, 2026 , and concludes with the State Meet the last weekend of July. The team banquet is a celebration of the season and is typically held a few days after the conclusion of the State Meet. While we prefer a multi-summer commitment to maintain our program's stability, all qualified, technically-sound applicants are welcome. The ideal coach is both an elite technician and strategist and a leader of people, driven to cultivate excellence through data-informed decision-making, performance science integration, and a relentless commitment to athlete well-being and growth.
