The Swim Instructor at the West Morris Area YMCA maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for students in swim classes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.    With the assistance of other aquatics staff leads and assists in the instruction of swimming lessons thar are in accordance with YMCA guidelines. 2.    Prepares lesson plans and supports members and program participants in achieving their goals. 3.    Develops and maintains positive relationships with volunteers, members or program participants, and colleagues at all levels of the organization; helps participants and families connect with each other and the YMCA; and encourages parent or caregiver involvement. 4.    Conveys information on aquatics safety, maintenance, programs and schedules and as appropriate to the Associate Director - Aquatics  5.    Refers program participants and families to other programs. 6.    Maintains...
