With this goal in mind, all instructors are required to use competitive swimming terminology when instructing students on the basics of swimming and stroke technique (eg, freestyle instead of front crawl, bilateral breathing instead of rotary breathing). Tsunami's Swim & Stay Fit (SSF) program encourages fitness and good stroke technique through weekly hour-long workouts. Many summer league swimmers use SSF to stay in shape throughout the school year. The Position We're looking for an energetic, dependable Part-Time Coach to join our staff for the 2026–2027 season and beyond. You'll work alongside our Head Site Coach and Site Directors to deliver Machine's training program, support athletes on deck and in the water, and represent the team at competitions. This is an excellent opportunity for coaches who want to grow within a well-resourced, professionally run program.
