Personal Summary
Hello! My name is Haven Carroll. I have been a swim coach for 7 years, 3 years of that being a head coach of a team. I was a competitive swimmer myself swimming for Club, YMCA, and High school. I am very passionate about teaching swimmers and getting to see their journey learning to love the sport the same way I have and as well see them accomplish their goals. I am very dedicated and hardworking and thrive when I get to be on the deck or in the pool. My goal is to continue my knowledge in the sport and to continue growing into the best coach I can be. My time coaching all these years has been such a fun and rewarding journey and I can't wait to get back on the deck!
Work Experience
I have been with the Gordon Family YMCA Tigersharks swim team for 7 years, 3 years of that being the Head Coach of the team. In my time with the Tigersharks we have taken many swimmers every year to State and Regional Championship meets. We have taken home a team trophy, have had several highest scoring swimmers awards, and many many medals. I had the privilege of getting to be apart and see many swimmers grow from beginner swimmers into successful high school swimmers, overcoming challenges and achieving big dreams and goals in the sport. All 7 years coaching this team has been such a great opportunity for growth and has been such a rewarding experience!
