Position Overview The Head Developmental Coach is a key leader in The Woodlands Swim Team coaching staff, responsible for the development, oversight, and daily operation of the developmental program (typically 10 and under). This includes designing and implementing training progressions, supervising and mentoring developmental-level coaches, and ensuring consistency and quality of instruction across all pre-competitive and developmental training groups. The role focuses on introducing athletes to the sport of swimming, instilling a love for the sport, teaching fundamental skills, and preparing swimmers for advancement into higher training groups.
