About Smoky Mountain Aquatic Club (SMAC), based in Waynesville, North Carolina, is seeking applications for the position of part-time Assistant Coach. We are a non-profit program that is run by a volunteer parent board which meets each month. As a member of our coaching staff, you will be asked to foster positive relationships and communicate well with swim team members, parents and coworkers. SMAC offers competitive hourly compensation based on qualifications. This role involves coaching swimmers aged 5 to 18, supervising assistant coaches, and collaborating with a parent-run board of directors to lead the team.
