Temecula Swim Club (TMEC) is seeking an experienced, motivated, and athlete-centered Senior Swim Coach to lead and develop our senior-level training group. The ideal candidate is passionate about competitive swimming, committed to athlete development, and capable of fostering a positive, disciplined, and high-performance training environment.
Plan and lead daily training sessions for senior-level swimmers
Design season training plans emphasizing technique, endurance, strength, and race strategy
Prepare athletes for championship-level competition
Provide technical instruction, feedback, and stroke development
Maintain consistent communication with athletes, parents, and staff
Attend swim meets and assist with meet preparation and race analysis
Support team culture, standards, and athlete accountability
Collaborate with Head Coach and coaching staff on program goals
Ensure athlete safety and adherence to team policies
Prior competitive swim coaching experience (senior-level preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of stroke mechanics and training methodology
Ability to motivate and develop competitive athletes
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Current certifications (or ability to obtain):
Safety Training for Swim Coaches (STSC) / Lifeguard equivalent
CPR / First Aid
Complete all USA Swimming Membership Requirements
