We are seeking an experienced and energetic Full-Time Swimming Coach to support the district’s swimming programs, including the high school team and the development of young swimmers in an affiliated club program. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, develop athletes’ skills, and promote a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and academic success.
· Support all aspects of the high school swim program
· Serve as a Club Development Coach, focusing on skill development and long-term athlete growth for younger swimmers
· Plan and conduct practices, meets, and training sessions
· Develop swimmers of all skill levels with an emphasis on fundamentals, technique, and progression
· Assist with meet preparation, entries, and team logistics
· Oversee equipment, schedules, and program organization
· Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff
· Ensure compliance with district, UIL, and applicable club policies
· Competitive swimming and/or coaching experience required
· USA Swimming coaching experience preferred
· High school coaching experience preferred
· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
· Preferred: Teaching certification, CPR, and Lifeguard certifications
