Assistant Facility Supervisor wanted!
Suburban Seahawks Club (SSC) is located in Newtown Square, PA. Must be able to
reasonably commute to the position.
Salary is hourly, part time and is commensurate with experience. Please send resume

SSC is a non-profit, 300+ member, competitive aquatics, USA Swimming Silver Medal
Club. SSC’s primary location is a club owned, 25 yard 8-lane pool with a 2 lane teaching
pool and dry-land room.
The job position has several areas of responsibility:
(1) Oversee the facility on Sundays and Mondays while coordinating with the Aquatics
Manager to safely ensure all policies are followed. Basic pool care knowledge is
required. You will also check the machinery, water testing and handle any membership
requirements.
(2) Lifeguard Monday morning each week and supervise lifeguard staff on Sundays.
SSC will pay for you to be certified as a Lifeguard and Certified Pool Operator.
Additional lifeguarding shifts may be available if interested.
(3) You will share in front desk responsibilities with the Building and Aquatics Manager.
(4) You will Identify building issues and troubleshoot, not limited to power washing,
cleaning the pool, assisting with maintenance, etc.
(5) During longer shutdowns for facility upgrades, tasks may include various light repairs
or coordination with outside contractors.
Additional opportunities for paid work as a swim lesson instructor or age group swim
coach may be available.
The position will generally be three days a week.
