Assistant Swim Team Coach Ivy Hills Stingrays

Ivy Hills competes in the Greater Cincinnati Country Club Swim and Diving League. The GCCCSDL season runs about 8 weeks. Practices start the week of Memorial Day. Practices that week will be in the evening as many of our swimmers are still in school that week. That's also the week where we'll hold tryouts for any new swimmers wishing to join the team. Beginning Monday June 1 practices will occur every weekday morning. 8U swimmers at 9am. 9+ swimmers at 10am. 6Uswimmers at 11am. Meets will be held on Wednesday nights starting at 6pm with the first meet scheduled for June 3. The season ends with the League Championship meet. That will be held July 13 at a time TBD at Terrace Park Country Club. We are in the blue division which is the small club division. Normally we have somewhere between 70-100 swimmers in our program. Although it's been on the lower end of that scale the last couple of years. Knowledge of swim entry computer programs is preferred but not required. The league has a specialist who can teach you how to run the entry program. You will have up to three assistants to help you in running the program. Salary for the head coach is $3000 for the 8 week season. You have the opportunity to supplement that salary by offering private swim lessons at the club as well. That's been a great way our previous coaches have been able to earn some more money. This is also a great place to get your start as a swim coach.
