We're Hiring: Group Lead Coaches & Assistant Coaches

Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

The South Shore Sails Swim Club is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and knowledgeable coaches to join one of the area's premier competitive swimming programs. We were a Bronze Medal Club in 2021, 2022, and 2024; and we qualified athletes for both the 2021 & 2024 Olympic Trials. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about developing swimmers of all ages and abilities while helping foster a positive, energetic, and team-first culture.

Available Positions

• Group Lead Coaches (Full-Time & Part-Time)
• Assistant Coaches (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate swim practices.
• Teach and refine competitive stroke technique, starts, turns, and race strategies.
• Motivate athletes to achieve their personal and competitive goals.
• Create a safe, positive, and disciplined training environment.
• Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and fellow coaching staff.
• Attend swim meets and support athletes throughout competition.

Preferred Qualifications

• Competitive swimming and/or coaching experience.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young athletes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and swim meets.
• Current USA Swimming certifications (or willingness to obtain), including:
  • Safety Training for Swim Coaches
  • CPR/AED
  • Athlete Protection Training
  • Background Check
